Pyrogen Testing Products
Testing for pyrogens is a critical step in ensuring parenteral pharmaceutical product and medical device safety. The monocyte activation test (MAT) can detect both endotoxin and non-endotoxin pyrogens in one in vitro test.
Traditional Endotoxin Assays
The Limulus Amebocyte Lysate (LAL) assay has widely replaced Rabbit Pyrogen Test as a much more sensitive and specific bacterial endotoxin test for pharmaceutical and biotechnology products
